And in the end, in human skin, the sinless and perfect Son of God exchanged His life for every twisted thing that we have done. In that single act, the star breather became the sin bearer. The universe maker became humanity’s Savior. It truly is, as Matt has stated so well, astronomical grace.

After all, you really can’t use the AU, or the light-year, or the parsec to measure God’s love for us. For that, all you need is a cross that’s large enough to hold the Son of God.
